Customer: US Marine Corps | Completed: February 2008
This entry-level ground electronic warfare training series was delivered to the
USMC Intelligence School Dam Neck, Virginia for distribution to the training pipeline.
Delivered via CD-ROM, the instructor led training modules are browser based and
capable for deployment over an intranet or the internet. The courseware has two
views, one traditional learner view for the students, and an intuitive, comprehensive
teaching view for the instructor including key talking points, full navigation control
and student monitoring. Additional features include student quizzes with automatic
scoring, and student tracking.
Customer: NAWC - TSD | Completed: January 2007
A hardware and software upgrade to device 2F178, EA-6B Weapons System Trainer incorporating
the block 89A Operation Flight Program 3.0 changes. These changes also benefited
the MRT project.
Customer: NAWC - TSD | Completed:October 2006
This project allows an ECMO (Electronic Counter-Measure Officer) to rehearse a mission
on a laptop. Mission data on a PCMCIA card is parsed to create a scenario in the
EWSS. The MRS framework is used to host ECMO station devices and the ALQ-99 OFP
simulation (from 2F178).
Customer: US Air Force | Completed: April 2005. (5 star rating awarded by Air Force)
Combat Systems Officer prototype trainer. This project uses the MRS framework to
host various simulated devices required in CSO procedure training. Configuration
for 1 instructor and 3 students included instructor monitoring capability, automatic
evaluation of student actions and software based intercom. Scenario generation via
the EWSS included PFPS route importing, mission replay, and navigation evaluation.
Simulations include high fidelity, classified versions of the ALR-69 RWR, ALQ-172
self-defense jammer, generic radar receiver, and various flight instrumentation.
Customer: NAWC - TSD | Completed: 2003
An upgrade to the 2F178 Prowler trainer simulation that includes changes associated
with Operation Flight Program 2.1. OFP simulation changed to a single module and
re-hosted to work within the MRS framework.
Customer: NAWC - TSD | Completed: 2002
A Prowler (EA-6B) flight and tactics station simulator built for the Marine Corps.
Trainer includes full cockpit functionality with (PC based) simulated ALQ-99 jamming
system for complete pilot and ECMO (Electronic Counter-Measure Officer) training.
Simulated OFP reads actual mission data for use in simulating ALQ-99 functionality.
Customer: NSA | Completed: 2002
The virtual trainer project converted existing simulated devices in the MAST/CET
(10H1D configuration) to be re-hosted as independent software modules capable of
accepting an alternate signal format.
Customer: Northrop Grumman | Completed: 2001
Both basic and advanced self paced courses in EW are available in this CBT. This
course-ware contains over 5000 pages of content, voice-overs, animations, and videos.
Each chapter contains a testing and evaluation section.
Customer: NAWC - TSD | Completed: 1994
Mission Avionics Systems Trainer / Common ELINT Trainer PC based MAST and CET are
classroom trainers designed to replicate actual radar receiving and analysis devices
in four configurations (10H1A – 10H1D). Students are trained in device functionality
and test their skills in real-world scenarios designed by the instructor. The equipment
simulations are highly accurate and reproduce almost 100% of the functionality found
in each device. One of the first virtual trainers to use photo-realistic equipment
simulations these trainers are still in use today.
